Retail maintenance case study: Saint Arnold Group
The Saint Arnold Group is made up 4 pubs in Essex; the Five Bells in Colne Engaine, the Griffin in Halstead, the Lion in Earls Colne and The Three Horseshoes in Fordham. Owners, Darran and Caroline Lingley bought the Five Bells in 2002 & worked extremely hard to build a wonderful community pub with an outstanding team and reputation. In 2012, both the Griffin and Lion were purchased and in turn this created the Saint Arnold Pub Group. The latest addition is The Three Horseshoes purchased in 2017.
Opulous Innovation has been supporting the expansion as the Saint Arnold Group continues to give an upmarket feel to quaint village pubs. From installing new sub mains and testing, to wiring the staff accommodation; we maintain our high city standards to refurbish these beautiful pubs, introducing the latest technology in the process.
Over the last 5 years, our engineers have upgraded the pubs to the latest in LED lighting and installed Sonos giving the customer a seamless audio experience in every room. The newest addition to the group is equipped with wireless Rako providing state-of-the-art digital dimming. Our relationship with the group ensures that each pub maintains its local charm and ambiance, whilst utilising the latest technology.

“They’ve installed single and three phase electrics, networks and sound systems. They have always been professional and sensitive to our needs and desires. They always offer great advice and constantly strive to keep up with future development and equipment. We can highly recommend this company.”
